The Gite has recently been refurbished to a high standard with new furnishings, plumbing and electrics throughout. The Gite is a traditional Vendee cottage that was built over 100 years ago and we have tried to retain the charm and character of the original building while at the same time providing an up to date and homely feel to the cottage. We think you will find everything that you are likely to need to enjoy a stress free and comfortable stay.
The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished and contains a dining table and chairs to seat four and a large, comfortable bed settee. A cot and high-chair can be provide if required.
There is also a radio/CD/cassette player, cards, dominos and games and a number of books, magazines and puzzles for use by guests.
The fitted kitchen contains a full size electric cooker, large fridge, microwave oven, electric kettle and all the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans that you are likely to need, including sandwich boxes and a large cool box with freezer blocks. There is also a small iron, ironing board and clothes airer.
The shower room has a sunken shower, wash-basin and toilet and a large bathroom cupboard.
The bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets with radio alarm and table lamp, a large (triple) mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers and a dressing table.
All bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are supplied and included in the cost of your stay.
To the rear of the Gite is a small mature garden with patio table and chairs, sun loungers and a small BBQ; ideal for alfresco eating or just simply relaxing in the sunshine.
